THE TEAM
DIRECTOR and FOUNDER Hugues Hariche is a Franco-Swiss director, screenwriter and producer living in the United States. He has directed several documentaries and award-winning short films distributed on television (France Televisions, Arte, TSR) and has worked with companies such as L'Oréal, Axa, Orange, Saint Gobain and Cournot Centre. He was a resident of Angers' Ateliers Premiers Plans, Berlinale Talent Campus and Locarno's Alliance 4 Development. His first narrative feature film Rivière, a coming of age story set in the world of ice hockey, produced by Beauvoir Films (Switzerland) and Les Films d'Argile (France), was in the official selection at the 2023 Locarno Film Festival. He is currently raising funds for his new feature film Lost Paradise, a post-apocalyptic neo-western set in a war-torn country, produced by P.S. Productions (Switzerland).
CINEMATOGRAPHER Peter Eliot Buntaine is a cinematographer residing in Ridgewood, NY. He has lensed Grand Clio and Emmy award-winning advertisements and films, and his short films have screened in film festivals, galleries and microcinemas across the country. In his commercial work-for-hire, he has collaborated with brands seeking to make positive impact in the world including WNET, CBS, Maysles Films, Atlantic Philanthropies, Toyota, United Nations Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative, NRG, AOL/Huffington Post, ESPN, The World Bank, Jstreet, Timberland, Sierra Club, Water for People, and Earth Day Network. Peter also curates regular screenings of experimental documentary cinema and teaches cinematography at the New School in New York.
COMPOSER Gavin Brivik is a film composer best known for his work on the 90th Academy Award Nominated, 2018 Student BAFTA Winning and 2018 Student Academy Award Gold Medal winning film My Nephew Emmett. Gavin is featured as one of the American Society of Composers and Publishers' "Film Composers to Watch, "winner of the 2017 World Soundtrack Award for Best Composition by a Young International Composer, the recipient of the ASCAP Jimmy Van Heuson Film Composer Award, honored with the distinguished Elmer Bernstein Film Scoring Award, and with the prestigious Alan Menken Composer Award.
