DIRECTOR and FOUNDER Hugues Hariche is a French director, screenwriter and producer living in the United States. He has directed several award-winning short films, including Les Liens du Sang (La Vie Est Belle Films), Flow (Kazak Productions) and Metropolis (Kazak Productions), all distributed on television and in numerous film festivals. Hugues has worked with non-profits such as Cournot Centre in Paris and New York, companies such as L'Oréal, Axa, Orange and Saint Gobain, and collaborated with French TV channels (Arte, France Televisions). With his production company Two Lane Films, he just finished a short documentary called Protect: Coastlines, Guns and Women in the Low Country. He is also developing and directing two narrative feature films: Breakaway a coming of age story in the world of ice hockey produced by Geko Films (France), and The Frontier a postwar neo-western. Hugues is a Angers Premiers Plans Workshops and a Berlinale Talent Campus alumnus.
CINEMATOGRAPHER Peter Eliot Buntaine is a cinematographer residing in Ridgewood, NY. He has lensed Grand Clio and Emmy award-winning advertisements and films, and his short films have screened in film festivals, galleries and microcinemas across the country. In his commercial work-for-hire, he has collaborated with brands seeking to make positive impact in the world including WNET, CBS, Maysles Films, Atlantic Philanthropies, Toyota, United Nations Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative, NRG, AOL/Huffington Post, ESPN, The World Bank, Jstreet, Timberland, Sierra Club, Water for People, and Earth Day Network. Peter also curates regular screenings of experimental documentary cinema and teaches cinematography at the New School in New York.
COMPOSER Gavin Brivik is a film composer best known for his work on the 90th Academy Award Nominated, 2018 Student BAFTA Winning and 2018 Student Academy Award Gold Medal winning film My Nephew Emmett. Gavin is featured as one of the American Society of Composers and Publishers' "Film Composers to Watch, "winner of the 2017 World Soundtrack Award for Best Composition by a Young International Composer, the recipient of the ASCAP Jimmy Van Heuson Film Composer Award, honored with the distinguished Elmer Bernstein Film Scoring Award, and with the prestigious Alan Menken Composer Award.
